For a long time, I struggled with hyperprolactinemia, and during that phase of my life, scented aromatherapy candles became a small source of comfort for me. The soft glow, calming fragrances, and soothing atmosphere helped me relax my mind during stressful days. I also always loved massages, organized spaces, cozy corners, and aesthetic interiors. Beautiful things have always made me feel emotionally connected and peaceful.
I graduated from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) and started my career as a visual designer. Looking back now, I realize my candle journey was never separate from my design journey. Everything I learned — colors, aesthetics, textures, balance, design fundamentals, visual storytelling — slowly became a part of my candles too.
One night, while sitting quietly and looking at a candle burning beside me, a simple thought came to my mind:
“I buy so many candles… why can’t I create one for myself?”
That single thought changed everything.
I bought some wax and started experimenting from home. What looked simple from the outside turned out to be one of the most challenging creative journeys of my life. I spent nearly 7 months doing research and development — testing waxes, fragrances, wicks, colors, containers, textures, burns, and finishes. I wasted so much material just trying to learn and perfect the process.
But one day, it finally happened.
I created my very first French Vanilla candle — still one of my favorites till today. The fragrance felt soft, sweet, warm, comforting, and peaceful… exactly how I wanted people to feel when they lit one of my candles.
That journey taught me something important: Ideas are easy to imagine, but execution takes patience, consistency, and heart.
What started as a personal experiment slowly turned into something much bigger than I ever imagined. Today, we have sold 2000+ candles, and every single order still feels special to me.
I try to create each candle with care and intention — the same way I would want a product made for myself. Something beautiful enough to sit on your shelves, your bedside tables, your work desk, or your favorite cozy corner in the house.
And now, this journey is no longer just mine.
I got my very first team member — Vidya. She is hardworking, highly motivated, kind, and honestly such a lovely person to work with. I genuinely admire how quickly she listens, learns, and grows. My vision is not just to build a candle brand, but to build a team filled with passionate people like Vidya — talented souls who may be unnoticed by the world, but have the heart and creativity to create something truly beautiful.
